Jotspot - Our development wiki

As some of you might have came across from an earlier post on the Payscroll blog, we are using a couple of “free” online collaboration tools to manage development of Payscroll. A main part of our development evolves around using our internal Jotspot wiki. We signed up for a free account sometime in October and was limited to 10 wiki pages with the free account. However, with Google’s acquisition, all Jotspot accounts are upgraded to unlimited pages and includes all premium features. We were fortunate enough to talk to Mr. Juan Carlos Perez (Asst. editor at IDG) a couple of weeks ago about our experience and opinions for Jotspot and here’s the article that mentioned about Payscroll’s usage of Jotspot wiki.So what are we actually using Jotspot for? We have a mix of wiki apps installed such as

payscroll_bugs.png- bug reporter for tracking development bugs.
- task manager for managing tasks to developers.
- calendar app for planning and stuff. yah stuff.

and finally we have wiki pages for Payscroll Functional Requirements/etc.

Future plans for our Jotspot wiki includes using Jotspot wiki for parts of Payscroll but that remains as only a plan now.

Glad you have found the wiki useful. Looking forward to working with you once we integrate into Google’s infrastructure.
