If you are addicted to Rails, I bet you’ll be addicted to Zed Shaw’s work - Mongrels. Many Rails app out there in production are running this excellent piece of software, serving requests - 24×7. So last week, he announced that “He’s officially retiring as a coder“, but Mongrel’s safe. How so?
So the words that strikes me the most were these
“If I’m gonna write something it’s because I’m interested in it and want to do it, not because some other idiot needs another social network site.”
Way to go Zed, maybe you might want to consider taking on the position of an advisor for Payscroll 
Zed backstabbed Ruby.
I have no respect left for someone that abuses anything he can get a hold on for his personal advantage.
Why cant he leave Ruby alone and use Python? He is always looking for a fight, I reckon he will be better for Python to have.
